Chicken and Dumplings


2 cups cooked chicken, diced
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 2/3 cups milk, divided
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
2 1/4 cups biscuit mix


Combine chicken, soups and 2 cups milk; heat slowly to boil. Add veggies and cook till just tender.


Combine biscuit mix and milk until soft dough forms and drop onto boiling soup. Lower the heat and cook 10 minutes uncovered. Cover pot and cook an additional ten minutes, then serve.

Pretty much the same way I make it! I love adding vegetables, though. For some reason I've never thought of doing that!
